I went to the grocery store

the other day and bought toothpaste and beer. When I went through the self checkout and scanned my items, the coupon machine spat out a coupon. Every time I get a coupon it is related to something that I purchased so I was a bit surprised when the coupon was for $1.00 off salad dressing. It makes no sense to me at all.
