I asked a doctor how allergy shots

are supposed to work last night.  She said that they inject small amounts of what I am allergic to into my arm and build the doses up slowly so I build up an immunity and stop having reactions to what I am allergic to. I'm allergic to lots of things, including cats, which means that for the past 3 years I've been having kitty bits shot into my arm. Kind of gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling, huh?
