I met a 220 pound
English mastiff today named Bob. I think if I had a 220 pound dog I would name it something like Hercules, or Maximus, or Gigantor or something like that. Bob just sounds kind of lame. I hope I didn't offend Bob with that, he weighs more than me and could probably eat me. Sorry Bob.

Too bad it couldn't have been named the beast, that would have made my day. That and if it liked to eat famous baseballs...
No kidding! We had that same discussion here. It was determined that our lives would have been a little more complete if his name were "The Beast." Hercules would probably have worked too because I was told that in the movie The Beast's real name was Hercules. I might have to re-watch the movie now to be sure. Anyone wanna watch the Sandlot?
